Ndromeda Netherlands
Ndromeda is het pseudoniem van singer songwriter en multi-instrumentalist Ciska Ruitenberg uit Hoorn. Vanaf eind jaren 90
tourde ze en maakte ze diverse albums oa met het legendarische Rotterdamse triphopcollectief Flying Dutchman.
Beinvloed door oude country en blues maakt ze nu een onconventionele mix van oud en nieuw met invloeden van Ry Cooder, Joni Mitchell, Gillian Welch, Feist

Vintage synths, wrist thick bass lines, stratums of guitar lines and tumbling rushes, static, dust, vocal samples and illusory field recordings make up the ingredients. Manipulated tape sonics, dramatic pauses and bends deliver at times, a dark trip, at others a caress. Masterfully done.
